WHERE DOES THE MONEY GO?
Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center is introducing some truly remarkable new therapies and accomplishments in cancer research - research that is saving lives. But, the science and technology behind these advancements need constant funding from individuals.

Private funding, like that received through the Hutch Holiday Gala provides seed money for promising studies in their early stages. Once a preliminary study proves the validity of an idea, the Hutchinson Center can then attract large federal grants and contracts for additional in-depth research. The center receives more funding from the federal government than any other cancer research facility in the country. However, government funding is not available without first receiving private funding to support seed research.

Please help by considering a contribution to the Hutchinson Center to support this vital research.

"After my mother was diagnosed with colon cancer in 2004, I was inspired to continue to support the Gala as a guild member. Due to the advances at Fred Hutchinson, more people like my mom and I can celebrate life!"
