33 YEARS OF THE GALA
Hosted by the Grace Heffernan Arnold Guild, the annual Hutch Holiday Gala has raised more than $58 million in support of the following research initiatives, and patient and family programs at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center: childhood cancers, fundamental research, early detection and intervention, the Hutch School, international research, and tumor research.

The Hutch Holiday Gala is the single largest fund-raiser benefiting the Hutchinson Center, and is one of the largest of its kind in the country. The Gala is a black-tie event featuring spectacular live and silent auctions, an elegant dinner, and late-night dancing with more than 850 business and community leaders in attendance. Last year’s Gala raised more than $4.2 million through private contributions.

"Our efforts are changing the threat of cancer so our grandchildren will experience cancer not as a life-threatening disease, but as a disease that can be cured."
